This week on Indie Investigations, I sat down to talk with Sean and Nick of Yacht Club Games, the developers of Shovel Knight, and discuss what it was like developing a game and how their design philosophies changed and shifted as we went along. I also discussed to them what I read about Festival Sherpa last night. I found out why they launched on Nintendo platforms before any others and we learnt about the difficulties of parodying a style and making it your own.
